CHICKEN and BROCCOLI ALFREDO

Slow Cooker CHICKEN AND BROCCOLI ALFREDO Recipe!

Slow Cooker CHICKEN AND BROCCOLI ALFREDO Recipe!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo is a favorite in our house.

I’ve decided to go back to the beginning of my YouTube days and do blog posts for most of my recipes.  I think it will be fun, although a bit cringey, to watch all those old videos again.  I was using free editing software and had a no-so-great camera.  LOL  Still, there are lots good recipes worth sharing.

I’m starting with my Slow Cooker Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo recipe.  This one is super simple and super tasty.  The only change I would make to this recipe is waiting a little longer to add the broccoli.  It really only needs about an hour in the slow cooker.

The video will have the instructions and, as always, the ingredients will be listed below.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken
  • 2 16 oz. jars Alfredo sauce
  • 1 lb frozen broccoli
  • 1 green pepper chopped
  • 1/2 cup cooked, crumbled bacon
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

white bread recipe

My Favorite White Bread Recipe for the Bread Machine

My Favorite White Bread Recipe for the Bread Machine

This is my favorite white bread recipe.  What makes it extra special is that I only make the dough in the bread machine and then bake it in the oven.

Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups milk (lukewarm)
2 Tbsp shortening
1 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
3 1/3 cups flour (all-purpose or bread flour)
3/4 tsp yeast

Add to bread machine pan according to manufacturer’s instructions.  Set machine to dough setting.  When dough setting is complete, shape as desired, let rise until doubled and bake.  Cool before cutting.

St. Patrick's Day Cupcakes

St. Patrick’s Day POT O’GOLD (Piñata) CUPCAKES!

One of my favorite things to do is decorate cupcakes!  I don’t have the patience to decorate large cakes most of the time, but cupcakes are fast and usually pretty simple.  At least the ones I decorate are simple.  🙂

St. Patrick’s Day is coming, so I thought this pinata style cupcake would make the perfect “Pot O’ Gold” cupcake!  Use yellow M&Ms and sprinkles in the center to represent the gold and confetti!

At the end of the video, I show you my secret ingredient to make cake mix taste so much better.

Enjoy!
