Low Carb Chili Recipe

As many of you know, my husband and I follow a low carb diet and there are a few foods that we really miss.  I’m trying so hard to find suitable substitutes for of them.  My husband LOVES chili, so this Low Carb Chili Recipe was a definitely a hit!  Try it out and let me know what you think!

 

Low Carb Chili Recipe 

  • 2 1/2 pounds ground beef, cooked
  • 1 small/medium onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 14-15 ounce can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 6 ounce can tomato paste
  • 1 4 ounce can green chilis, no drained
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons cumin
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • pinch red pepper flakes, optional
  • 1 teaspoon salt, optional
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 bay leaf, optional

Throw all ingredients into your slow cooker and cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for low for 6-8 hours.  Remove bay leaf before serving.
