Apple Pie Cheesecake Bars Recipe

I’ve been eyeing this recipe for a long time.  Actually, I’ve been eyeing the cheesecake bars recipe for a while, but I knew I wanted to add a little more flavor.  We had a couple of apples sitting in a bowl staring at me (really, they were staring at me! LOL) and that’s how this idea was born!  Our youngest, LOVES apple pie, so I figured combining the two had to taste amazing, right?

Here are the ingredients you’ll need:

  • 2 cans of refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1-8 ounce package of cream cheese
  • 3/4 + a splash of vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon apple pie spice
  • 2 apples finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • cinnamon sugar mixture

My Favorite White Bread Recipe for the Bread Machine

This is my favorite white bread recipe.  What makes it extra special is that I only make the dough in the bread machine and then bake it in the oven.

Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups milk (lukewarm)
2 Tbsp shortening
1 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
3 1/3 cups flour (all-purpose or bread flour)
3/4 tsp yeast

Add to bread machine pan according to manufacturer’s instructions.  Set machine to dough setting.  When dough setting is complete, shape as desired, let rise until doubled and bake.  Cool before cutting.
