Slow Cooker Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo is a favorite in our house.
I’ve decided to go back to the beginning of my YouTube days and do blog posts for most of my recipes. I think it will be fun, although a bit cringey, to watch all those old videos again. I was using free editing software and had a no-so-great camera. LOL Still, there are lots good recipes worth sharing.
I’m starting with my Slow Cooker Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo recipe. This one is super simple and super tasty. The only change I would make to this recipe is waiting a little longer to add the broccoli. It really only needs about an hour in the slow cooker.
The video will have the instructions and, as always, the ingredients will be listed below.
Slow Cooker Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken
2 16 oz. jars Alfredo sauce
1 lb frozen broccoli
1 green pepper chopped
1/2 cup cooked, crumbled bacon
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp black pepper

You know those days when you have your mind set on something for dinner and then you realize you don’t have all the ingredients? Well, this was one of those days! So, I just threw together what I had on hand and it turned out delicious! Ingredients: Boneless, skinless chicken breasts Bottled marinade or salad dressing (I used Lawry’s Baja Chipotle) Potatoes Frozen broccoli Chopped onion 8 oz. chicken broth Black pepper Garlic powder Marinate chicken, add remaining ingredients, except broccoli. Cook on low for 3-4 hours, then add in broccoli, black pepper and garlic powder (to taste). Cook on low for another 2-3 hours or until chicken is cooked through.
